Relative Adoptions
 
Mission of T.E.A.R.S. assists families desiring to adopt orphaned or destitute children of relatives from their home country. Families are assisted with the documentation and procedures required in Canada in order for them to be approved as adoptive parents by the Ministry of Child and Family Services.
Once approved Mission of T.E.A.R.S. liaisons with legal professionals and child welfare authorities in the child’s country of origin to complete the adoption in compliance with the law of the land and assists with immigration processes for the child’s entry into Canada.
One time licenses are issued by the Ministry to facilitate adoptions from countries for which we do not have a permanent license.
