Founders Message “Building Adoption From The Premise of God” Serving God has been the guiding force of our lives, Diane and I always worked as a team that was supportive, tireless and committed to the cause of humanitarian aid, development and spreading the word of God. In early 90’s on our mission tour to Russia we saw humanitarian and social needs that God challenged us to respond to, we came back with our hearts full of Love. Out of this Love Mission of T.E.A.R.S. was born in 1993. Mission of T.E.A.R.S. started on a very small scale supporting a few projects in Russia initially and as we went along we expanded. In 1995 we started finding homes in Canada for the orphaned children in Russia. While developing our adoption program in Russia, we were introduced to many other needy nations in the world. Today I am proud to say that Mission of T.E.A.R.S. has crossed many borders and stepped into the field of adoption worldwide. It has been a long and hard journey for all of us at the Lewis household, as we faced a lot of ups and downs, but every time we had a low period we thought about our first trip to Russia and reminded ourselves of the commitment we made to God and to the children of the world. Our Hope, Faith and Love has been instrumental in our growth in the past and will keep us going in future.
